The 32SM Team
All of us involved with 32SM have a passion to help young adults get their careers off to a great start. Our team is diverse–in terms of both individual backgrounds and age. This is a strength that allows us to provide a service that is relevant to early careerists, as well as corporations, universities and parents.
Duncan Ferguson, 32SM Practice Area Director and Senior Consultant
Duncan is a former Human Resources executive with Amoco BP and GATX Corporation and has been with BPI group for six years. He has led the 32SM effort during the past three years. He is active at his alma mater, Michigan State University, mentoring students, presiding over the Alumni Advisory Board for his graduate program while also participating on the advisory board for the College Education Research Institute. He has been a guest on WGN radio and has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal regarding the topic of early careerists.
Gene Link, Senior Consultant, 32SM Design Team
Gene is a former HR executive, most notably with Hartmarx. In his current role, Gene is part of both the firm’s Talent Management and Career Transition practice areas, which focus on executive coaching, leadership development and career changes. He has been part of the 32SM team since its inception, bringing his passion and enthusiasm for early careerists to help us with workshop design and facilitation.
Lyndy Nierman, Senior Consultant, 32SM Design Team
Prior to joining BPI group, Lyndy was a partner at a national accounting and consulting firm. She was also vice president of a national consulting firm based in Boston. She has been the subject of numerous articles and media interviews in the career management field, and has been quoted in the Chicago Tribune, US News & World Report, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. Lyndy was truly the catalyst for 32SM, designing the original workshop delivered by BPI group over five years ago, and is still actively involved with the design, development and workshop facilitation of 32SM. She has an avid interest in helping young people get their careers off to a great start.
Cara Noverio, Sales & Marketing Administrator, 32SM Design Team
Cara joined BPI group in 2008 as part of the sales and marketing team. Bilingual in English and French, she also facilitates communications with our corporate headquarters in Paris, France. As a recent graduate of Georgetown University, Cara felt a connection to the 32SM mission of helping college students and early careerists discover their passion. In addition to her involvement in the design and development of 32SM, Cara is a member of the 32SM Advisory Board.
Stella Cannon, Director of Talent Programs
A recent addition to BPI group’s Talent Management practice, Stella has quickly become an integral part of the 32SM team. With a background in instructional design, she has proven indispensable in the refinement of the 32SM workshop, and the development of the 32SM manual.
